Born in Glasgow Brian worked for the national press for over 20 years, he has worked with News of The World. working as their chief photographer, he worked on all the big stories from Dunblane/ Terror Attack on Glasgow / Lockerbie Bomber and the death of Princess Diana.
After the closure of the News of The World Brian worked on his finest moment in photography with FACES, a Journey Through The Underworld to critical acclaim. The book went on to inspire a tv documentary on the Quest channel and Netflix to millions. He has worked on Mcntyes Underworld about Glasgow villain Paul Ferris, then worked with names such as Danny Dyer in Dangerous men, National Geographic and Panorama to name just a few.
In 2014 he launched a Glasgow picture magazine called Glasgow Eyes which is going from strength to strength. His pictures have been used in newspapers and magazines all over the world, Brian says he is just getting started with a release soon on a 20 years documentary street book on his hometown of Glasgow, and in 2018 a showbiz book will be released , also in 2018 he will release his pictorial book on the Bay City Rollers after spending 2 years on the comeback.
Brian is considered by many in the industry as one of the best and most versatile photojournalists of his generation.
